What You’ll Do as a Social Media Manager
As the Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy designed to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and encourage customer engagement across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create engaging, innovative, and quality content that resonates with our target audience. This includes visuals, written posts, and video content.
Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track engagement metrics, website traffic, and conversion rates. Analyze data and adjust strategies to improve campaign performance continually.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and personable manner that reflects our brand’s voice.
Influencer Collaboration: Identify and collaborate with social media influencers to expand our reach and tap into new audience segments.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, applications, and best practices to keep our strategies fresh and competitive in the market.
Campaign Management: Lead and manage social media advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals, budget management, and ROI reporting.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in the digital marketing domain.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter), social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
Creativity: Strong creativity and understanding of aesthetic principles to curate visually appealing content.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle community engagement and maintain brand voice.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing data and deriving actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies.
Passion for Social Media: A deep understanding of current trends and technologies in social media and a willingness to innovate.
